I am still in the process of recovering from all of the excitement of the 2013 ASCA Conference in Philadelphia, PA. I decided to write a series of posts because I really can't cram everything I want to say into one post! I will give you the highlights of each day I attended the conference, even though the whole conference was amazing! I recently installed social media icons on my blog. This was a simple project that I wish I would have done this a long time ago! I did a Google search for adding social media icons to Blogger and found great step-by-step instructions  on  My Favourite Things Blog . After adding the social media icons, however, I realized that when I clicked on an icon the website opened in the same page as my blog. I wanted readers to be able to click on a social media icon and have the social media site open in a different window. So, I did some more Google-ing to find a html code for opening a website in a new page.  I decided to make a tutorial to break it down into smaller steps and give you a code that will open the social media sites in a new page. I started a blog dedicated to self care called  School Counselor on the Run ! Don't worry, School Counselor Blog isn't going anywhere! I started  School Counselor on the Run , a blog about focusing on self care one step at a time!
