🔥 Take on National School Counseling Week

🔥take on National School Counseling Week... It's not about being celebrated.

Sure it's nice to be appreciated and acknowledged, but it's not about that...

National School Counseling Week is about celebrating our profession, advocating for our role, and letting others know how we make a difference in the lives of students.

Instead of worrying about whether or not people are going to acknowledge you, think about how you can let others know about the amazing work you are doing to support students. It's not bragging... It's advocacy.

You don't have to make a grand gesture or give anyone candy or gifts...

You can thank your cheerleaders... the people who support you and your program!

You can celebrate other school counselors and the school counseling community!

You can celebrate yourself - #treatyourself!

The bottom line... NSCW is an excellent opportunity to let others know what you do and thank those who support you.

Another idea... I put the ASCA photo challenge templates in Canva so you can easily add your own text! You can print them or save them as a file and share them digitally! You can even add a bitmoji 😉.
