Aloha Summer! End of Year Hawaiian-Themed Teacher Gift with Printable Aloha, Summer! Gift Tag


Our PBIS Team has a tradition of getting a small gift for staff for our final "Treat Trolley" of the school year. This year, we did a Hawaiian Theme. We purchased Hawaiian T-shirt Can Koozies, fun and festive sparkling waters, and of course some pop! We put a colorful gift tag on each one that says "Aloha, Summer! We Hope You have a great Summer Break! Love the QVMS PBIS Team."



Below I will share everything you need to re-create this Hawaiian Themed Teacher Gift. This would also make a fun gift for a School Counseling Department, Student Services Department, Supervisor, Intern, and more...

To make the "Aloha, Summer!" Gift, we purchased:


I made the "Aloha, Summer!" printable on Canva. I saved it as a PDF and printed it four to a page on colorful Astrobrights Cardstock Paper. *Tip, if you do not want to use color ink, a great hack is to make your design black and white and print it on colorful paper!


We assembled the gift by tieing the card to the hawaiian shirt koozie. We put some in a basket and others we put on some drinks as examples. We let staff members pick a drink and pick a koozie of their choice.

This was a fun and festive way to kick off the last Friday of the School Year!

FREE Career Interest Games and Inventories on VA Career View

I have been searching for fun and interactive career activities to facilitate with students this year. I rediscovered  Virginia Career View , which has a wealth of computer based and printable career activities. I have used this website many times, but each time I visit I am surprised by how truly awesome this site is. In the K-5 Section of  Virginia Career View  there is an interactive game called  Career Town ! I used the  Career Town  game with some 5th grade students last year and they loved it. Career Town has three levels with different games to learn about jobs on each level.  The  Career Town  has an educators guide  for each "level' of the game. Spring Mindfulness Bulletin Board with QR Codes

I created this colorful, interactive, spring bulletin board for our March & April PBIS theme, mindfulness. I made this bulletin board interactive for students by adding QR Codes with different mindfulness activities. Since most things need to be touch-less right now, I thought using QR Codes would be an easy way for students to access some mindfulness activities. If you are not familiar with QR Codes, QR stands for Quick Response. QR Codes are scannable with a smart device camera (iPad, tablet, or smart phone). you can easily make your own QR codes by using a QR Code generator. You can link the QR Code to a website or online document. When the user scans the QR Code they will be directed to the link.
