The Southwest Airlines Adopt-A-Pilot Program connects pilots to 5th grade classrooms for a mentorship program. Students learn about core subjects through aviation related activities. They also learn F.L.I.G.H.T. values (Fearlessness, Leadership, Imagination, Gratitude, Honesty, Tenacity) and the importance of education and staying in school.
Registration is open until October 31st. I'm sure this is an extremely popular program, so act fast to register the 5th grade classrooms at your school!
There is also an online version of the Adopt-A-Pilot program where classes can connect with a pilot virtually through email while completing the Adopt-A-Pilot curriculum on their own.
For more information check out the Southwest Airlines Adopt-A-Pilot website.

We have an Adopt-A-Pilot program at our school! Our students love it and we are grateful for the wonderful pilots who have volunteered their time to visit our school.
