July #SCCHAT Transcript: ASCA Conference Recap

Our July #SCCHAT was held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 8pmEST. The topic was #ASCA13 Conference Recap. The #scchat was moderated by me, Danielle Schultz (@sch_counselor).

There were great mix of #SCCHAT participants who   attended #ASCA13 and those who were #notatASCA13. We chatted about how twitter played a role in our conference or non-conference experience, shared favorite resources we learned about during the sessions or by following the #ASCA13 hashtag, gave suggestions of how to get a trip to #ASCA14 funded, and much more!

We also discussed ideas for the third annual #SCCHAT Tweet Up at #ASCA14. The #SCCHAT Tweet Up is hosted by Dr. Erin Mason and me as a way for school counselors who use Twitter to connect in real life.

You can view the transcript below or to read the full transcript in a separate browser.

The next #SCCHAT will be held on August 6, 2013 at 8pmEST. The topic is Supervising School Counseling Interns and will be moderated by Jeff Ream (@CounselingGeek), school counselor blogger at The Counseling Geek. We will be sharing tips and advice about hosting and providing site supervision to school counseling interns!

#SCCHAT occurs on the first Tuesday of the month unless otherwise specified.
